This handy piece can be a shirt or a jacket. It’s made in a cotton blend stretch lightweight denim so it’s comfortable to wear.  Individualised with vintage buttons. Looks cool worn casually with sleeves rolled up.

Like all MF Blackbird styles these shackets can be worn in several ways – throw it on as a shirt with a skirt, pant or shorts casually in the summer, wear it over a dress or top when it gets cooler in the evening, and the in the colder months you can layer it as a jacket with a longer sleeved top, scarf and boots.

MF Blackbirds are rescues/imports. We save manufacturing orphans from landfill. They are carefully chosen to complement MF designs and help build outfits & capsules. Usually black, off-white, or denim, and then refashioned, embellished (paint and/or embroidery), and/or wear/shrink/quality tested by us.

Fit: MF clothing does tend to have an oversized aesthetic and aims to fit women across our size range of 10 to 20. We love One Size clothing! All our Blackbirds are washed after they are finished so they won’t shrink when you get them home. This shacket measures approx. 60cm across the chest (armpit to armpit) when laid flat, so that's a circumference of about 120cm.

Fabric & care: These shackets are made from a cotton-blend denim: 65% cotton, 33% polyester, 2% spandex. Turn inside out and check the pockets are empty before putting in the wash. Hang on a coat hanger and dry naturally. Iron if you want to.
